MCT Insurance changes its name to BrokerLink

TORONTO, JANUARY 25, 2021 – BrokerLink is pleased to announce that Macdonald Chisholm Trask Insurance (MCT Insurance) changed its name to BrokerLink on January 1, 2021.

Since acquiring MCT Insurance in 2014, BrokerLink has built on the strong foundation that MCT Insurance established in the communities of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador. Originally acquiring 16 branches, BrokerLink is now proud to service customers at 30 locations throughout Atlantic Canada.

“This transaction was monumental for BrokerLink, as we were introduced to the Atlantic market through MCT Insurance,” says President of BrokerLink, Joe D’Annunzio. “We have been on a journey to introduce the BrokerLink brand to Atlantic customers, and we’re excited to officially share the news that we are one team under the BrokerLink name.”

Customers will continue to receive the same local expert insurance advice and service that they are familiar with, and Atlantic Canada community members can look forward to seeing BrokerLink signs at their local branches, along with more references to the BrokerLink brand.
