As an ongoing supporter of curling in Canada, BrokerLink is proud to be an official sponsor of Ontario-based Team Glenn Howard as they compete across the country during the 2016/2017 curling season.
The team consists of curling legend Glenn Howard as Skip, Richard Hart as Third, BrokerLink’s own David Mathers throwing Second and Howard’s son Scott Howard in Lead. David Mathers is able to combine his passion for curling with his career as he’s also a Commercial Insurance Advisor leading BrokerLink’s National Curling Centre Insurance Program.
With extensive experience competing in the world of curling, individual members of the team have won numerous championships including the Tim Hortons Brier, Grand Slam of Curling, World Curling Championship and many more prestigious curling titles.
This season Team Glenn Howard hopes to win a Canadian championship, which would put them one step closer to qualifying for the 2017 Olympic Trials. If all goes as planned, they could represent Canada at the 2018 Olympics in South Korea – go Team Howard!
